Work In Progress

My Narrative & Ideas Of The Spaces I Have Created.

The spaces have been designed for a mentally disorientated Bulleted Listand deranged patient, whom is in the process of being treated and there for has been heavily medicated, which has caused for her sanity to be lost.

That leads to my initial sketch, the top space has been designed to hang on top, hovering just as her sanity is, it is questioning whether or on it will fall or up hold itself, as she is questioning herself on whether she will find her solidarity to withstand and progress through the changes that are necessary for her to obtain her life back.

The intertwining of the stairs that allow for the access to each space is also questionable, it doesnt appear strong but does have the ability to withstand and allow for the interaction between its levels.

The middle level also just hangs like a ledge or a seesaw it weighs on either end on her ability to fight the deranged mental illness she has, to find the right balance to continue down the spiral to her ultimate free space.

The free space is at the bottom of the spiral it is on ground level as it is her footstep to leave and walk away into her own destiny and solidarity, when she is well and free of the strong hold that she once had over herself.

One of my early conceptional sketches.
The sketch shows the initial idea of a flower that has bloomed its fragile and flimsy, well the spaces that i have created were for a fragile state of mind, being in solitude and heavily medicated she has reached the top of her peek, and she could easily fall or break at any moment, but if she can withstand the treatment it could help her balance out which is the mid area of the sketch it could represent leaves, that are there to balance the flower as if to catch it if it falls, the bottom of the stem is back on solid ground as it started there it has now finished there, enabling her to return to her true self.
