(Not To Scale)
I was playing around with the angles with the middle space in actual conception the floor is level but by the outside view i was going for a scale type of concept, weighing out either the bigger picture facing downwards were society and the normal world functions, to the opposite side facing upwards to the sky being up in a non realistic mind.

Bottom And Middle Spaces.

Early Model Work.
(All Are Photos And Are Not To Scale)

The photo above is of the site I have chosen to situate the spaces of the hospital on the top of a small hill, no were near to any thing as normal society would be able to keep an eye on this hospital as it is for the mentally sick.

This is the bottom space this is the most stable of all three spaces, it sits on the ground and has one door which is the only way into the hospital and the only way out, it is this space that holds up the whole hospital made up of three spaces in total.

This is the middle space the treatment space, it is like a scale and when put together as seen bellow it weighs down onto one side, the side that weighs down is on the fullest, biggest side it has a large window which looks down towards ground level and signifies the bigger picture in her rehabilitation's, the other side is the smaller side with a smaller window which signifies the smaller picture and this side weighs up towards the sky. The state of mind she is in and is getting treated for could either go towards the bigger picture leaning down and allowing a large view of society bellow and their normal lifestyle, over the smaller picture showing a smaller view towards the sky were her mental state of mind is in the clouds very far from stable ground, and up in the unknown. The scale significantly is the weighing out of getting better or worse and that is the way in which this treatment works.

This is the top space her solitary confined room this is at the very top of all the spaces, it has only a small window to a corner looking down, as shes is not at that frame of mind that will allow her to come down to reality the opposite corner has a little larger window looking up and that is all that allows for her to look at and see what unrealistic life there is up there. The room is small and closed in it has an unbalanced form as does her mind at that point to get her to this room.

This is a early attachment of the bottom and middle spaces, it shows the unbalanced effect of the middle treatment space, and it balances upon the most stable of all rooms being the bottom space.
